Being a world-class museum that serves more than 1.2 million visitors each year takes the extraordinary enthusiasm and dedication of many people. This past year, our volunteers went above and beyond, working tirelessly behind the scenes and with visitors to help make The Children’s Museum the award-winning museum it is. Highlights of the year included the volunteer networking efforts that brought in local Chinese volunteers as part of our groundbreaking Take Me There:® China exhibit, the Guild’s new Black Hat Dash, and the 10th anniversary of the Power of Children Awards.
The Power of Children Awards recognize middle- and high-school youths who make significant contributions to benefit others.
The Children’s Museum Guild again exemplified the award-winning efforts of all those who work and volunteer at the museum.
Our valued volunteers put in many hours of service to help the museum maintain its world-class status.
MAP is our project-based program designed for youths ages 13 to 18 that encourages learning through volunteering.
