In 2014, children and families enjoyed one-of-a-kind family learning experiences brought to the museum from ancient tombs, faraway continents, and creative imaginations. China’s Terra Cotta Warriors: The Emperor’s Painted Army was the year’s highlight, followed by Take Me There:® China, Leonardo: The Mummified Dinosaur, and Shirley Familian Stamp Art. Through it all, authentic artifacts and specimens from our world-class collection of 120,000 objects provided the foundation for family learning, as we featured 11,035 objects in our exhibits and programs—a five-year record!
From the life-size artifacts to intricate art, the museum’s wide range of exhibits transported visitors via their imaginations.
The Children’s Museum works with many international partners and experts to develop its world-class exhibits and programs.
The museum continues to lead in the development of world-class exhibits.
