A Year of Exploration
In 2013, children and families explored exciting exhibits that opened their minds to unique learning experiences and transported their imaginations to places they’d never been. From our all-new early learning gallery Playscape, to the fascinating world of AVATAR: The Exhibition and more, there was something to engage all ages. Authentic artifacts and specimens from our world-class collection of 120,000 objects, along with significant loans from collectors and organizations, provided the foundation for family learning.
From showcasing the superpowers of superheroes, to exploring the world of Pandora, to discovering it together in Playscape, the museum provided exhibits that engaged children and their families on every level.
The Children’s Museum works with many international partners and experts to develop its world-class exhibits and programs.
