“Neighbors helping neighbors” is how the museum approaches its neighborhood outreach initiatives. And no one better exemplifies this commitment than the museum’s own Director of Community Initiatives, Anthony Bridgeman. In 2012, Anthony was the proud recipient of Indianapolis’ Best and Brightest award from Junior Achievement in the Education and Nonprofit category. Bridgeman was instrumental in the development and implementation of the museum’s Neighborhood Club, Access Pass, and the Foster Family Membership programs.
The Mid-North Quality Of Life (QOL) Plan began implementation in early 2012. Sponsored by the Local Initiatives Support Corporation-Indianapolis (LISC), the plan sets out a vision for substantial improvements in the quality of life experienced by Mid-North neighborhoods.
