Free & Reduced Admission Programs

Making the museum accessible to all is a defining characteristic of the museum's enduring community commitment. Realizing admission fees can be a barrier for some families, the museum provides various free admission days or reduced admission programs, thanks to many generous gifts. In 2012, over 157,500 visits occurred through these programs, valued at $2.3 million. The visits included 44,613 people who enjoyed the museum through the Access Pass program, which allows qualifying low-income Indiana families to visit for $1 per person!
